Winner of local Delivery Excellence Challenge is....

Ljubljana, September 2023 | On 2. september, we were looking for "Delivery Excellence Best Driver" for DPD Slovenia at AMZS center Vransko! The winner who will represent us in the finals in the Netherlands in October is….

As you know, on Saturday, September 2, at the AMZS safe driving center in Vransko, we held a local Delivery Excellence Challenge competition for couriers, where we were looking for the "Delivery Excellence Best Driver" for DPD Slovenia.

Strength was measured on the track and in various practical and theoretical tasks:

• Osman Alibašić (Ljubljana depot)

• Nejc Zakrajšek (Ljubljana depot)

• Boštjan Furek (Maribor depot)

We started the day with a lecture on safe driving, where we renewed the knowledge, we had already acquired, but certainly also learned something new. As part of safe driving, various tasks on the track followed, such as avoiding obstacles, driving in difficult conditions and sudden braking.

After all the completed tasks, of course there was a competition! First, a test with theoretical tasks, then practical tasks on the track. Everyone did a great job, and it was very difficult to choose a winner. Little things made the decision.  

After carefully counting the points, the winner of this year's Delivery Excellence Challenge is: Nejc Zakrajšek (Ljubljana depot).

We sincerely congratulate Nejc for winning first place, and of course congratulations to Osman for second place and Boštjan for third place.

All the contestants were great! They proved that they were chosen for a reason. BRAVO to everyone again!

We wish Nejc the best of luck in the finals on October 11 and 12, when he will face the winners from other European countries in the Netherlands.
