Ljubljana, November 2024 | Due to the increasing trends of card payment on the Slovenian market and the trends of cash on delivery (COD), which are still a very common method of paying for online orders, this year at DPD Slovenia we have introduced a simple and safe cash on delivery method - contactless card payment.
Pay for your parcel contactless via the courier's scanner
To provide package recipients with unique user experience, in addition to the option of paying with cash upon delivery and payment before delivery via the WSPay system, we now also offer the option of contactless card payment when picking up the parcel.
With the help of the Worldline Tap on Mobile application, we have turned the existing scanners of our couriers into mobile POS terminals. So now parcel recipients can quickly and easily pay for their home delivery parcels with a card, without having to worry about whether they have enough cash at home and the exact amount to pay.
It's easy! The courier will select the card payment option on his scanner and the amount to be paid will appear on the screen. The recipient just places the card on the device and that's it! Payment confirmation will be sent to the e-mail address or via SMS message.
