Payment information

The cash-on-delivery service is an additional service for which DPD Romania assumes the responsibility of collecting an amount of money from the recipient and transferring it to the sender. The service guarantees the sender that the goods will be paid for on time, while the recipient will receive the goods for which he pays.

The service is available for shipments from Romania to Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Czechia and Croatia.

For deliveries in Romania, if you choose to pay by card upon delivery (MPOS), the commission is 0.85% of the parcel's value. For European countries that are not mentioned in the table below, the only accepted payment method is by card.

Rates are expressed in ron, and do not include VAT.

The COD fee is added as part of the courier service and is paid by the courier service payer (shipper).

The COD amount is declared in the local currency of the destination country (for Greece – in euro, for Bulgaria – in BGN, etc.)

The amount for the COD service is paid by the recipient at the time of delivery of the shipment.
