The COD fee is added as part of the courier service and is paid by the courier service payer (shipper).
The COD amount is declared in the local currency of the destination country (for Greece – in euro, for Bulgaria – in BGN, etc.)
The amount for the COD service is paid by the recipient at the time of delivery of the shipment.
The extended limit of liability service guarantees the security of parcels against the usual risks of transport.
The maximum allowed limit of the declared value is the equivalent in RON of 5,000 euros/shipment.
We recommend using this service when sending parcels containing new items or items still under warranty, or those whose price exceeds the standard coverage included in the price of the service.
Covering the declared value of a parcel is the carrier's responsibility in case of loss, theft or damage to the item, up to the declared value of the parcel in RON.
The declared value must be the same as the actual value of the parcel and must be proven by relevant documents provided by the customer. The terms and conditions for the "Liability limit extension" service are described in the Terms and conditions provided by DPD Romania for parcel servicing.
For parcels with the cash-on-delivery service in Poland, the liability extension service is mandatory.
In case of loss, partial destruction or damage, DPD will compensate:
with the declared value for the missing, destroyed or damaged part or with the share corresponding to the missing weight of the declared value, for postal items that are subject to a declared value delivery service;
with the amount representing 5 times the service fee, in case of partial loss, partial destruction or damage to postal items that are not subject to a value-added service;
in addition to the provided compensations, the collected tariffs are also returned, within the value limit of the non-fulfillment of the obligation assumed by DPD. The full refund of the fees collected takes place only in case of loss, theft or total destruction;

Dr. In Uniforma is for those people who have the least time to think about them, it is about the people who save lives every day and for whom we are committed to producing quality, comfortable and affordable work equipment. We are manufacturers since 2019 and produce work equipment for the medical field and the horeca field.
In the external markets, we initially focused on Hungary and Poland, where we knew it was easier to enter, later we expanded to Italy, Spain and we have other countries in the project. Generally, every customer wants their shipment to arrive as quickly as possible. The fact that we manage to deliver in a short time in these countries, having many positive feedbacks, makes us dependent on couriers, because the effort we put in is worth nothing if our parcel is not delivered. We really appreciate the fact that every day the courier waits for us until the end of the program, when most of the parcels are ready, to pick them up. He takes the parcels and then makes sure they reach the customer. Every package delivered in a timely manner helps us to be closer to customers, therefore, the courier is one of the main factors of our development. He knows where to go, we have transparency in parcel tracking. The time differs a little from Romania, being an international transit, but the parcels arrive quickly, and that makes us happy. We know all parcels leave at the same time, we can track them and have updated statuses for them.
When we expand into an international market, we do a market study to see what the demand is in that country, because before we expand, we need to know if we can support that demand and we need to see if we can reach that area. We depend on the couriers and how it will be delivered there. We think about all the factors, but very important is how the parcels reach the customer, how I communicate with him, how I offer him my products. If I have a partner there that I can rely on, I will also launch into other markets.
DPD is definitely the courier I need.
