DPD FOOD - safe food delivery in a monitored cold chain!

The service consists in delivering food from the sender to the recipient at a controlled temperature from + 1oC to + 4oC, no later than the next day from the date of dispatch. The shipment may contain goods that do not require a controlled temperature, but it must be resistant (or properly secured) to damage caused by increased humidity and / or low temperature in refrigerating chambers.

Shipments are handled in the B2B and B2C channels with the following assumptions:

  • the weight of a single parcel cannot exceed 20 kg
  • the longest side of the parcel cannot exceed 100 cm
  • the maximum size of the package cannot exceed: according to the formula (2xa) + (2xb) + c = 220 cm
  • the goods must be chilled before being accepted by the courier to the transport temperature, i.e. from + 1oC to + 4oC
  • the goods must be packed in such a way that there is no direct access to them, and the packaging used must be resistant to low temperature and increased humidity

Collection of parcels with delivery on the next business day takes place from Monday to Thursday, excluding public holidays.

Shipments picked up on Friday will only be delivered to DPD Today city service (same day delivery). Soon more information about new cities supported by DPD Food standard.

In other parts of Poland, we offer a standard courier offer (for goods that do not require a monitored cold chain).
