What You Need To Know:

We want to be as clear as possible on how you enter, and how the Prizes are drawn. Please read the nuts and bolts below for the full details.

1. We know that there are DPD Netherlands customers all around the world, but this promotion is only open to businesses of 249 employees or less registered in the Netherlands that require parcel deliveries as part of their business operations and who do not currently have a DPD Netherlands account. You must be aged 18 or over and have the authority to enter on behalf of the business. So that we are completely fair, anyone employed by us or professionally connected to this promotion is not allowed to enter.

2. You don’t have to buy anything to take part in this promotion, but you do need your own professional email address and you must agree to provide your phone number linked to the business you are employed by and the required information about the business, as well as access to the internet in order to enter. Please note, the winning business will need to set up a DPD Netherlands account in order to accept the Prize.

3. Promotion Period: You can enter between 00:01 on the 24th February 2025 and 23:59 on the 20th April 2025 inclusive.

4. To Enter: Entering this promotion is simple and there are two different ways you can enter on behalf of your business:

a) Click on the Meta banner advert that appears in your Facebook or Instagram feed, complete the questionnaire within the advert and submit your details (full name and professional email address and phone number) and your business’s details (business name, number of employees and number & destination of deliveries);

b) Visit www.dpd.nl, click on the banner referring to “DPD loves small business” to be directed to the form and submit your details (full name, email address and contact number), your business’s details (business name, number of employees and number & destination of deliveries).

5. We’re sorry, but a maximum of 1 entry is permitted per person who has the authority to enter on behalf of the business, and 1 entry is permitted per business during the Promotion Period.

6. The Prize: There will be a total of 1 winning business. The winning business will win one year of DPD deliveries tailored to their business needs, up to a maximum value of €10,000 excluding VAT, customs duties and any other applicable taxes (the “Prize”).

7. Further Prize Details and Conditions:

a) The one-year period of the Prize duration will commence from the date the winner sets up a DPD Netherlands account.

b) The Prize includes both domestic and international shipping.

8. Winner Selection: So that you know we’ve selected our winner fairly from all the valid entries we receive, the random draw will be carried out by PromoVeritas, the independent promotional verification service to select 1 provisional winner and 9 reserve winners. The draw will take place within 5 working days of the end of the Promotion Period.

9. Contacting the Winner: We’ll contact the provisional winner via the email address provided on entry within 15 working days of Winner Selection and will ask them to provide evidence of identity and eligibility for themselves and the business within 15 working days of the first contact. Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the winner. Once eligibility has been confirmed, the business will be confirmed as the winner. If the provisional winner does not respond to the initial contact or does not provide the necessary evidence of identity and eligibility within 15 working days, we reserve the right to disqualify that entrant and award the Prize to a reserve selected in the same manner. Reserve winners may have less time to respond.

10. Prize Acceptance: If your business is the lucky winner, notification to arrange the Prize will take place within 28 days of acceptance of the Prize. In the unlikely event that you or the business doesn’t receive notification within 28 days, you must inform us by emailing [email protected] within a further 28 days. If you don’t let us know within this time frame, we will reserve the right to not reissue the Prize or limit its value at our sole discretion.

11. Provided no objection is received from the winning business, we’ll make a winner list containing the name of the winning business and its registered address available 4 weeks after the close of the Promotion Period, for a period of 8 weeks. It will be available upon sending a request via email to [email protected]. The winning business can object to their details being published during the Contacting the Winner process, however, we will provide winner information to any relevant authority when requested by them.

12. Sorry, but you can’t transfer the Prize to someone else or another business or exchange it for a cash alternative or any other form of compensation.

The Legal and Other Bits

No one likes the small print, but we need to let you know about some other important stuff too and make you feel comfortable that we run our promotions properly, fairly and legally!:

13. Data Privacy: We care a lot about the security of your personal data and it will only be used for the purposes of this contest and for analytical purposes. 14. We seek to run a fair and secure promotions and prevent abuse and cheating. If you enter in a way that is not consistent with these Terms & Conditions, your entry (and any of your associated aliases) will be disqualified, any Prize awarded may be void and recoverable, and we reserve the right to bar you from entering future promotions of ours for a period of at least six months. For this reason, we reserve the right at any point to:

a) Verify the eligibility of entrants and/or the provisional winner and/or their business through multiple means by requesting such information and supporting documents we consider reasonably necessary for this purpose. Entry or a Prize may be withheld unless and until verification is completed satisfactorily.

b) Disqualify entries that are not made directly by the individual entering the Promotion.

c) Disqualify entries made using anonymous email services such as, but not limited to, GuerillaMail, Dispostable or Mailinator.

d) Disqualify bulk entries from individuals, trade, consumer groups or third parties, incomplete entries and entries submitted by macros or other automated means.

e) Disqualify entries beyond the maximum allowed, or those using techniques such as ‘script’, ‘brute force’, masking identity by manipulating IP addresses, using aliases or identities other than their own or any other means.

f) Disqualify entrants who tamper with the entry process.

g) Disqualify entries which, in some other way, do not fully meet the requirements of these Terms & Conditions.

h) Cancel, modify or suspend the Promotion should it not be capable of running as planned for reasons including but not limited to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, dishonesty, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion.

15. No responsibility can be taken for entries which are lost, delayed, corrupted, damaged, misdirected or incomplete or which cannot be delivered for any technical, delivery or other reason. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt. We can’t guarantee continuous or secure access to the entry page.

16. We and our associated agencies and businesses are not liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Promotion or accepting or using the/a Prize(s), except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. Nothing will exclude the Promotor’s liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence.

17. We won’t be liable for any delay or failure to comply with its obligations for reasons beyond its reasonable control arising from but not limited to Acts of God, global or regional epidemic or pandemic, adverse weather conditions, fire, industrial dispute, war, terrorist activity, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, plague or other natural calamities, or any other circumstances.

18. If any part/s of these Terms & Conditions are legally ruled to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the remainder will not be affected and will continue in full force and effect.

19. By entering, you will be deemed to have agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

20. If there is a discrepancy between these Terms & Conditions and those in any promotional material, these Terms & Conditions will prevail.

21. These Terms & Conditions are governed by Dutch law and their interpretation and application will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Netherlands.
