• This service is only possible for DPD CLASSIC orders and DPD Home orders. If you want to send a parcel via Online Shipping Service, only use of the check out of Online Shipping Service for Increased Liability is permitted.

• The Agreement, the DPD General Terms and Conditions and the DPD Manual apply. DPD will only compensate damages if it is obliged to do so under these conditions.

• Choose the increased liability that matches the value of the parcel, but never a higher amount than what we have agreed in the agreement.

• Choose the desired increase of liability in steps of €500 per Parcel.

• The corresponding surcharge will then be charged by DPD. In addition, you will still owe the normal rate.

• There is a maximum of 20 parcels (assignments) per calendar month for which the maximum liability can be increased. Exceeding the maximum number of parcels means that all parcels above the maximum are automatically excluded from this option. The right to reimbursement of the surcharge is excluded.

• DPD is free to insure your application for Increased Liability in its own name and at its own expense with an insurer. Acceptance of your claim then depends on the assessment and acceptance of the claim by the insurer involved.

Furthermore, it also applies that:

• the packaging of the parcel must be suitable for transport.

• this option is not allowed if you have insured the parcel with an insurance company.
