DPD expands Pickup network: 500 new Pickup locations in cooperation with Studenac

Zagreb | September 2024. | Studenac, the retail chain with the most extensive network of stores in Croatia, and DPD Croatia, one of the largest parcel service providers in Croatia, are proud to announce a collaboration that will bring 500 new locations for picking up, returning and sending parcels by the end of the year. The significant step is part of a broader plan to expand DPD Pickup network in Croatia to more than 1,700 locations throughout Croatia by the end of the year.

 

DPD Croatia is the first courier service in Croatia that has established cooperation with the leading retail chain in Croatia in terms of number of stores, Studenac, using the solution of the company Pointpack, which provides modern technology in the field of IT infrastructure related to the first and last mile of city logistics. „Our partnership with DPD Croatia and Studenac is an excellent example of how technology supports the development of modern logistics solutions. Our technological solutions enable the seamless integration of DPD with payment system in Studenac, expanding the possibilities of infrastructure development for the first and last mile of urban delivery and improving the overall shopping experience “, said Marcin Raheb, Service Delivery Manager at Pointpack.

DPD is working intensively on creating the most widespread Pickup network in Croatia, and with the newly established partnership with Studenac, it is certainly one step closer to the goal.

Expanding services in line with the market needs

To meet the increasing demands of the market and expectation of users, DPD Croatia is constantly expanding its Out-of-Home network for picking up parcels. Online sales and purchases have become an indispensable part of everyday life, and DPD Croatia is ready to offer a variety of delivery options and adapt to the increasing demands of users. Using the myDPD application, parcel recipients can change the delivery date, delivery address or redirect the parcels to the Pickup location or Parcel locker that suits them best. Pickup locations for parcel pickup are an ideal way to provide delivery control to parcel recipients, especially with the large variety of locations offered to them.

In addition to the existing more than 1,400 Pickup locations and more than 300 Pickup Parcel lockers, now the final recipients of parcel will be able to buy groceries and at the same time pick up their parcel in an additional 300 stores in Studenac, with the goal of reaching 500 locations by the end of the year.
