DPD Croatia supports VIDI-X Project

Zagreb June 2021 | DPD Croatia once again had the opportunity to expand its humanitarian activities. At the initiative of the technological media house "VIDI-To", they participated in achieving their goal to equip the classrooms of all Croatian schools with the first Croatian multifunctional development microcomputer.

The goal of Project VIDI-X is to provide students access to the best technology to support their learning and search for new knowledge in order to become as educated and complete as possible and contribute to our society as a whole to be better, more educated, tolerant and socially just.

VIDI Project X is developing microcomputer powered by a powerful ESP32 processor that contains two cores and a TFT touchscreen. VIDI X is equipped with a few interesting sensors and a special port that allows additional expansion of functionality. The possibilities for usage of VIDI X microcomputer are endless. An additional advantage is that it is completely designed and engineered in Croatia.

VIDI Project X is a platform that gathers all people and institutions that have good intentions and want to create innovative work settings in order to inspire young generation, no matter what their area of interest is, to work on new projects individually and in a group that could develop into start-up companies.

As education and learning from a very early age are very important to us, it is for this reason that we participated in equipping a classroom with 20 VIDI-x microcomputers and an appropriate educational set.DPD Croatia donated funds for equipping a classroom in the Stjepan Radić Elementary School in Brezovec Orehovički, and last Thursday we had the honour of delivering microcomputers to the principal and students of the school.

DPD Croatia donated funds for equipping a classroom in the Stjepan Radić Elementary School in Brezovec Orehovički, and last Thursday we had the honour of delivering microcomputers to the principal and students of the school.

Thanks to DPD Croatia, the students of this school will have the opportunity to learn the basics of programming and creating creative solutions with the help of digital technologies from the earliest school days. We have helped make the initial steps in educating elementary school students from whom we expect great things and we are extremely proud to have had the oppurtinity to participate in this commendable project.

We will continue to monitor their work and projects that will work with the help of "our" microcomputers!
