Zagreb | October 23rd, 2021. | DPD Croatia as part of DPDgroup is continuously working to create a social and environmental heritage that our children can be proud of. This time we recognized the idea of creating clothes that will really be worn, that people need and that will last for seasons.
That is why we decided to support the Croatian fashion duo ELFS, Aleksandar Šekuljica and Ivan Tandarić, who announced the collection for autumn/winter 2021 with „Slow down go green “campaign. ELFS is one of the most recognizable fashion brands on the domestic and regional scene, and this collection focuses on domestic production and a sustainable approach to fashion, creating timeless garments. They are recognizable by their commercial design approach and their understanding of fashion as entertainment.
Although the fashion industry is one of the biggest polluters in the world, with careful management, use of recycled materials and sustainable approach to fashion, it is very possible to responsibly modern, as they showed at a fashion gathering held at the Recycling Yard in Zagreb. On that occasion, many Croatian famous names had the opportunity to take pictures in front of our DPD green wall with our electric vehicle and electric bicycle.
„Carbon neutral, sustainable and innovative: all in one parcel! “is certainly our motto. We are proud to have followed sustainable fashion and promoted green delivery with our electric bike and our electric van – the Nissan NV200 XL e-Voltia. Precisely because of our approach to sustainable business, ELFS has chosen DPD as a partner for the delivery of its parcels.
The fashion event was also covered by the media, so that DPD Croatia was highlighted as a responsibly recognizable brand.
