DPD Croatia has opened a new storage and distribution center in Dugopolje
DPD Croatia, a company celebrating its 20th year of business in Croatia this year, and operating as part of the parcel division – Geopost, owned by the French post office, is pleased to announce the opening of its newest distribution center, at Put Dračanice 6, 21204 Dugopolje.
„The opening of the new distribution center in Dugopolje is a significant improvement of business and reflects DPD's continuous commitment to improving infrastructure and optimizing the logistics network to provide better service to its customers, “said Igor Jakovljević, regional director of DPD for Croatia and Slovenia.
The construction of the new complex, which covers an impressive 4,904 m², began in March of this year, and since its opening, this distribution center represents a completely new dimension of delivery quality in Dalmatia. The complex is located in an excellent transport location, only 20 kilometers from the center of Split and in the immediate vicinity of the A1 highway.
The new sorting center will be a key base for around 80 employees and couriers, covering the entire Split- Dalmatia Country. It will also serve as a transit point for parcels destined for Šibenik and the southern part of Croatia, including Dubrovnik-Neretva County.
By investing in this new distribution center, DPD Croatia strengthens its logistics capacities and optimizes operational processes, which will result in improved service quality for all its clients, from senders to consignees.
