DPD Estonia and Geopost support local communities in all the countries in which they operate.

No matter where we live, work or deliver, we are one community.

Cooperation with the Rae Rural Municipality

Cooperation with the Rae Rural Municipality

For over ten years, in cooperation with the social workers of the Rae Rural Municipality, we have supported the children and young people of the local community by providing children of low-income families with school supplies for their first year of school and giving them Christmas presents.

We also support the local student summer brigades and offer job shadowing, summer jobs and traineeships for young people.

Supporting children with reduced mobility

Since spring 2018, we have organised the “I Can, You Can” sports project every year, where we encourage our employees to walk, run, cycle or roller skate and participate in teams with Estonian co-workers as well as colleagues from all the Baltic countries. The project builds team spirit and encourages employees’ charitable contributions.

The kilometres covered during the competition are converted into euros, which we donate to support children with reduced mobility. We have long contributed to initiatives of the Estonian Association of People with Disabilities (ELIL) and Tartu University Hospital to support mobility-impaired children (a hand robot, special playgrounds, ELIL Youth Council, etc.).

The Bullying-free School Foundation (SIA Kiusamisvaba Kool) was established in 2012 with a mission to jointly prevent and stop bullying in order to give children in Estonia a safe and caring school environment. DPD Estonia is the parcel delivery partner of the project since 2021.

Cooperation with the cancer treatment foundation The Gift of Life

The Hille Tänavsuu cancer treatment foundation The Gift of Life is a privately initiated cancer treatment support foundation that helps cancer patients whose treatment is not considered by the state to be sufficiently “cost-effective”.
The foundation mainly supports people financially, helping patients to purchase vital modern medications, giving them hope and a chance to live longer or even fully recover. DPD Estonia is the parcel delivery partner of the project since 2019.

Parcel delivery partner to the Food Bank

Toidupank Toidupank

Parcel delivery partner to the Food Bank

The Tallinn Food Bank has been operating for ten years. With the help of dozens of volunteers, the Food Bank donates food packages to more than 3000 people in need of help in Tallinn every week. The objective of the Food Bank is to fight poverty, reduce food waste and promote solidarity between people. The Tallinn Food Bank also sends food to other food banks across Estonia, and this is where DPD comes to help.
