Supporting the youth and children of Rae municipality

There are many families in Rae municipality who are socially vulnerable and eagerly accept help. We are here to lend a helping hand and work closely with the social workers of Rae municipality.

Every year, we gather lists of children from socially vulnerable families who start school. We buy them school supplies so they would not have to worry about missing anything. 

We also support low-income families during Christmas. The social workers of Rae municipality provide us with a list things that families are missing and we do our best to fulfill their wishes. Here, the wishes are fulfilled by both us as a company and our employees as individuals. Our neighboring companies and their employees also make a great contribution. Everyone who wants to help families has always been able to contribute. 

Pumpkin transport to the Tallinn Zoo

Every year, DPD collects pumpkins together with the Tallinn Zoo. The joint pumpkin campaign of DPD and the Tallinn Zoo has now taken place eight times and each year there are more and more people who generously donate their autumn produce. For example, in the autumn of 2018, DPD transported more than 17 tons of pumpkins to the zoo and in addition to that, people also transported their produce to the zoo themselves. 

In the course of the campaign, DPD will deliver pumpkins from pumpkin growers from all over Estonia free of charge, but those who wish can also bring their pumpkins to the zoo themselves.
