What happens if the consignee is not located?

Consignees who are not located at the time of delivery receive a parcel notification card from DPD. This explains how the consignee can collec their parcel quickly and conveniently. For example, DPD uses the card to inform customers that a parcel has been left in the desired location, or is ready for collection from a neighbour or from a Pickup parcelshop. Before the parcel is delivered or deposited, consignees also have the option of redirecting the parcel in a way that best suits their daily routine. DPD makes a maximum of three delivery attempts.
