Curtain up for 2019's most valuable brands: for the second time, the market research company Kantar and the WPP media group have published their "Top 50 BrandZ Brand Value Ranking" for Germany. And this year DPD once again figures among the Top 30: with a brand value of USD 2.3 billion, the parcel and express service provider ranks 29th among the 50 most valuable German brands in 2019. This year's ranking is headed by SAP (USD 50.9 billion), Telekom (USD 41.2 billion) and BMW (USD 25.2 billion).
The overall value of Germany's Top 50 puts them in third place worldwide
The total value of the 50 most valuable German brands rose by 11 percent year-on-year to 341 billion dollars. According to Kantar and WPP, this development underscores Germany's role as a leading economic power in Europe. Only the top 50 of the USA (USD 3.2 trillion) and China (USD 638 billion) achieve higher totals than Germany's top 50.
