Gold for CSR commitment: DPDgroup receives EcoVadis award

Once a year more than 600 multinational companies have their sustainability performance evaluated by the prestigious service provider EcoVadis. DPDgroup once again took part in this ranking process and received the EcoVadis gold medal for the fifth time in succession.

EcoVadis is regarded as one of the world's largest and most reliable providers of sustainability ratings for companies. In a transparent rating process, four categories are examined: the environment, ethics, employment practices and human rights, and sustainable procurement. The final evaluation is based on international standards in the field of sustainable development (Global Reporting Initiative, United Nations Global Compact, ISO 26000) and is overseen by an academic committee of CSR (corporate social responsibility) and supply chain experts.

DPDgroup once again scored 68 out of a possible 100 points and, as the gold medal demonstrates, is one of the 6 per cent of the CEP and logistics companies surveyed to achieve the top CSR performance. By participating in this ranking DPDgroup aims to create the greatest possible transparency: thanks to the independent evaluation by a jury of experts, customers receive the best possible comparability and thus also a clear overview of the group's commitment to CSR.
