DPD "Future Talk" - the eight episode

In our " Future Talk" series we talk about the future, whether it's in the area of city logistics and sustainable mobility, digital solutions, forward-looking delivery processes or innovative product developments. Once a month we ask our experts in various business disciplines what the future looks like for them. What is their vision for the year 2050? And how do they aim to realise it?

The eighth episode is answered by Julius Hebel. He is a trainee for freight forwarding and
logistics services at DPD Germany.

Three questions for Julius Hebel

.

For me, the future is ...

... to live in a society in which no one is discriminated against or disadvantaged, either in their private or professional lives. In which the preservation of our planet has top priority and conflicts between nations are a thing of the past. Poverty and lack of education have also become rare.

.

In the year 2050, I would like ...

... a responsible and fair cooperation of politics, economy and society. A world in which technological achievements are used in such a way that the earth is even better protected and in which the healthy and happy life of the individual is more important than power or money. The merchandise industry can be a pioneer here by optimizing logistical work processes in an advanced way and making its contribution to stability in society.

What do we do for this?

DPD Germany moves and does a lot to act in a future-oriented and progressive way. From the optimization of individual work processes to a healthy work-life balance. The future definitely starts today at DPD.
