Aschaffenburg, July 25th, 2023: Geopost, the parent company of DPD Deutschland GmbH, has again achieved Gold status in the EcoVadis Sustainability Rating 2023. This award is given to companies that act in a particularly sustainable and socially responsible manner. Geopost is thus among the top four per cent of the industry.

EcoVadis is one of the world's leading providers of independent sustainability ratings. The rating covers a broad spectrum of different areas of corporate governance. These include, for example, environmental impact, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. Each participating company is rated on topics relevant to its size, location and industry. The methodology is based on international CSR standards such as the Global Reporting Initiative, the United Nations Global Compact and ISO 26000.

In the EcoVadis Ranking 2023, Geopost even improved by four points to 72 points compared to the previous year. With the gold medal, Geopost is among the four percent of CEP and logistics companies surveyed with the best CSR performance. With its regular participation in the analysis, the company aims to create the greatest possible transparency: The independent evaluation by a jury of experts provides customers with the best possible comparability and thus a clear overview of the parcel service provider's CSR commitment.
