What's the difference between profile and the delivery preferences?

In myDPD and in our app we distinguish between your profile and delivery preferences. The difference is quite simple: in the profile, you enter personal data about yourself, for example your address and mobile phone number. These form the basis for our delivery. In the preferences you can influence the delivery and, for example, give us a deposit okay, specify your favourite parcel shop for all your future parcels, or (de)activate email notifications.
