Postal amendment - labeling heavy parcels: what is the background and what does it mean?

The background to this is to reduce the physical strain on operational staff. From 01.01.2025, the weight marking (from 10 kg and from 20 kg) must be printed on the labels so that the weight of the parcels can be recognized directly and appropriate measures (2-person handling or with technical aids) can be initiated. A supplementary legal regulation on technical aids will follow.
