Is the delivery option "AO + name" the same as a deposit okay?

During the corona pandemic we deliver almost exclusively without contact. This means that you hand over the parcel to the consignee in the presence of the consignee, and sign for the delivery yourself. In the case of a deposit okay the consignee doesn't have to be present when the parcel is delivered. You simply leave the parcel in the requested location.
