When the parcel reaches DPD, a message is sent by email or text message, giving the date of delivery. The recipient has the opportunity to use Follow My Parcel from then on.
On the day of delivery, the customer receives another message telling them in which one-hour time slot the parcel will be delivered. The parcel can be tracked live during delivery, and redirected online up to 15 minutes before final handover.
With live tracking, the parcel can be accurately tracked right through to delivery.
Using Follow My Parcel, different delivery options can be selected which give your recipient the freedom to receive their parcel exactly when and where they want.

The recipient can approve delivery to a safe place (online). We’ll then leave the parcel at the recipient’s home, in an accessible place indicated by them.
If the proposed delivery date is unsuitable, the day can be changed here.
In just a few steps, the delivery address can be changed, for example for delivery to the place of employment or a neighbour.
For even greater flexibility, the recipient can redirect their parcel to one of our 400 Pickup Shops.
Parcels can be collected from there easily and conveniently in the evening or on Saturdays.
Did we try to deliver your parcel, but you were not at home? Has our driver left you a message in the form of your parcel information? Now you can use this to select a delivery option that suits you, and have your parcel diverted to a DPD Pickup parcelshop.
All you need is the parcel information number (you'll find that on the parcel information left for you by the driver) and your postcode.
This approval applies to all future parcels until you cancel it. Please fill out the form for the general signature release authorisation and send a signed copy as an attachment by email to: [email protected].
By registering with myDPD, you can find all the parcels that are on their way to you. Decide when and where we deliver your parcels when you are not at home. You can always find the DPD parcels that arrive for you under "My parcels".
Tracking: with our tracking function, you can track the progress your parcel is making. We will notify you of its delivery, giving you a delivery window of one hour.
Not at home? With our redirection options, you can simply change the day or place of delivery.
