An interview with our Mischa

1. How long have you been working at DPD?

I’ve been working at DPD since 1 November 2020.

2. Which aspects of your job as a DPD driver do you enjoy the most and motivate you every day?

The freedom to plan my day the way I want. I can plan the route the way I want to do it, which gives me great pleasure.

3. Can you tell us about a particularly challenging but also instructive situation during a delivery?

As I was very afraid of dogs, it was challenging for me at first to deliver parcels if a dog was in the garden. With time and experience you learn how to deal with dogs you don’t know, which at the same time has reduced my fear to a minimum.

4. Is there a particular route or region that you particularly like to work, and if so, why?

Yes, route 627. This route starts in Erstfeld and ends in Realp. Although it is the longest route and has lots of hills, I like it the most. One reason for this is that I know a lot of people on this route, as I was often allowed to ride along with my father on the route in the past.

5. How important is teamwork to you?

Teamwork is very important to me. In our team (Mispa Transport GmbH), the motto is ‘One for all and all for one’. You scratch my back and I’ll scratch yours, which produces excellent results.

6. Do you have any hobbies and if so, what?

I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I love travelling and often play table tennis in my free time.

7. You mentioned your love of travel: which place in the world is one of your favourites?

Yes, I really like to travel. I’ve been to many different countries and have gotten to know many different cultures. However, Greece is one of my absolute favourites. In my opinion, the people there are exceptionally hospitable and the sea is just fantastic. That’s why I travel to Greece very often.
