Receiving parcels is even easier with DPD

It is always important to us that we increase and further expand the satisfaction levels of your customers and therefore also of our customer base. As you are no doubt aware, our portfolio includes the additional service Predict, which is an integral part of our classic 2C product DPD COMFORT.

Our addressees love Predict, as illustrated by our NPS scores. From November, we therefore intend to permanently combine DPD HOME Service with the additional service Predict.

With the modified DPD HOME Service, your customers can manage receipt of their parcels even more easily and flexibly.

What does this mean for you as a customer and what are the benefits for your customers?

  • The customers decide themselves when and where their parcels are delivered – with Follow My Parcel in the notifications
  • Higher delivery rate upon attempted delivery
  • Fewer returns as the customer takes on the decision-making role
  • Enhanced customer experience
  • No extra charges for you or your customers
  • If there is no interaction with your customers, their parcels are delivered normally

‘After we offered this upgrade to all of our customers in the run-up to Christmas last year with no extra charges, we were surprised by the good feedback in the market on the one hand and we recognised just how much potential it offered on the other. The addressees are becoming increasingly hybrid and want flexible parcel delivery,’ says Sabrina Würgler, Product Manager at DPD Switzerland.

Important: For the addressees to receive notifications throughout the parcel delivery process and for the customers and addressees to be able to benefit from all the advantages, we need their details including their email addresses.

‘In our customer experience programme, we continuously analyse and optimise our customer notifications so that we can proactively notify our addressees at every stage of the parcel delivery process and so that parcel receipt becomes an experience,’ says Jasmine Zurbuchen, Digital Marketing Team Leader at DPD Switzerland.

We firmly believe that we can make parcel receipt even more sustainable and more customer-oriented with our modified DPD HOME Service, thus further improving customer and addressee satisfaction.

Kind regards,

Your DPD Switzerland team
