Amir Agic: ‘BSB Versandhandel is one of 21 enterprises belonging to Bürgerspital Basel, or BSB for short.
BSB is a social enterprise belonging to the civic community known as Bürgergemeinde Basel that is recognised even outside of Northwestern Switzerland and is a major employer in the region with around 1,500 employees.
BSB Versandhandel is dedicated to working for and with people. Our aim is to inspire our customers and integrate people with disabilities.
In order to survive in this environment, our highly qualified specialists work with passion and expertise in providing support.
As BSB Versandhandel, we offer all-inclusive professional services from order acceptance, packing and shipping to returns logistics. Our diverse portfolio ranges from simple order picking and shipping work to complex complete solutions. We promote the next generation of skilled workers with a large range of training programmes: we are one of the largest training centres in the fields of logistics and combined transport in Northwestern Switzerland.’

DPD: 'Describe DPD in three words.'
Amir Agic: ‘DPD has many great attributes, but if I have to limit myself to three, they would probably be “reliable, sustainable, familiar”.’

DPD: ‘What is particularly important to you in a collaboration?’
Amir Agic: ‘We make sure that the services we perform for our customers are of high quality and expect the same from our partners. DPD always adheres to what has been agreed and is reliable. This makes our day-to-day work easier.’
