What happens if the consignee is not located?

Every consignee who is not located during delivery will receive a parcel notification card from DPD. This explains how the consignee can obtain the parcel quickly and conveniently. With the card DPD informs the consignee, for example, that a parcel has been dropped off at the desired location, is ready for collection from a neighbour or from a Pickup location. If the parcel has not yet been delivered or deposited, the consignee has the option of redirecting the parcel in the way which best suits his or her everyday needs.
