Founded in 1988 as the first private parcel service in Austria, DPD relies on the logistics infrastructure of its shareholders - Austria's leading freight forwarders Gebrüder Weiss, Lagermax and Schachinger. Today DPD is Austria’s leading private parcel service.

The umbrella brand of domestic logistics (est. in 2018) has set itself the task of bringing the topic of logistics to public awareness, to reinforce the significance of the sector. At the same time, the important and innovative industry should be promoted across borders.
